B&O Railroad Station Restoration

The Aberdeen Room is working with The Historical Society of Harford County in a restoration campaign for the B&O railroad station on West. Bel Air Avenue. Find out how you can help us with this project.

 

August 15, 2012     B&O Train Station Receives Variance 

The temporary roof covering on the histori B&O Train Station is part of a designed plan by The Historical Society of Harford County to protect the Station's roof in an effort to control water infiltration and further damage to the structure, as it anticipates the station's relocation a few yards north of where it stands today.  A variance application related to the Station's setback requirements was recently approved by the City of Aberdeen, Board of Appeals, so its relocation and renovation can move forward.

Aberdeen Room Curator Visits Aberdeen, Scotland

Charlotte Cronin and her daughter and grand-daughter were the honored guests of the Reynolds and Bulls during their two day visit on Monday and Tuesday, May 30 & 31, 2005, to Aberdeen, Maryland's sister city Aberdeen, Scotland.
