August 15, 2012 B&O Train Station Receives Variance
The temporary roof covering on the histori B&O Train Station is part of a designed plan by The Historical Society of Harford County to protect the Station's roof in an effort to control water infiltration and further damage to the structure, as it anticipates the station's relocation a few yards north of where it stands today. A variance application related to the Station's setback requirements was recently approved by the City of Aberdeen, Board of Appeals, so its relocation and renovation can move forward.
